Size Guide& Fit
Measure once, lift for life. Every NBD product is sized for real powerlifters — belts, sleeves, wraps, straps. Get the right fit the first time.
Belt Sizing
Measure your waist at the navel — not your pants size. Use a soft tape measure pulled snug but not tight. This is where the belt sits when you squat and deadlift.
| Size | Waist (cm) | Waist (inches) | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 60–70 cm | 24–28" | Lighter lifters, women's sizing |
| S | 70–80 cm | 28–32" | Lean male lifters |
| M | 80–90 cm | 32–36" | Most common size |
| L | 90–100 cm | 36–40" | Heavier lifters, bigger builds |
| XL | 100–115 cm | 40–45" | Powerlifters in heavier weight classes |
| XXL | 115–130 cm | 45–51" | Super heavy weight class |
Knee Sleeve Sizing
Measure the circumference of your knee at the centre of the kneecap with your leg straight. Measure both knees and use the larger number.
| Size | Knee Circumference | Use Case |
|---|---|---|
| S | 30–35 cm | Smaller builds, tighter competition fit |
| M | 35–40 cm | Most common — training and competition |
| L | 40–45 cm | Larger quads, heavier lifters |
| XL | 45–50 cm | Heavy weight class competitors |
Wrist Wrap Sizing
Sized by length only. Longer wraps give more layers = more stiffness = more support. Choose based on training intensity.
| Length | Best For | NBD Product |
|---|---|---|
| 18" Short | Beginners, gym training, lighter pressing | NBD Special Wrist Wraps |
| 24" Medium | Intermediate lifters, regular heavy training | Premium Black Series |
| 1 Metre | Competitive powerlifters, max bench support | Competition Ready 1M |
Knee Wrap Sizing
Knee wraps are one size fits all — 2.5 metres long. How tightly you wrap determines the level of support and rebound.
| Product | Best For | Stiffness |
|---|---|---|
| Heavy Duty Bandages | Competition squats, maximum rebound | High compression |
| Black Series Knee Wraps | Elite training, competition prep | Maximum stiffness |
Elbow Wrap Sizing
Elbow wraps are one size fits all. Compression and warmth around the elbow joint — for heavy bench press, overhead press, and tricep work.
| Product | Best For |
|---|---|
| NBD Elbow Wraps | General training, joint support, beginner to intermediate |
| Black Series Elbow Wraps | Heavy bench pressing, competitive lifters |
Lifting Strap Sizing
NBD lifting straps are one size fits all. The rubber grip coating locks to the bar without multiple wind-arounds — works for all pulling movements.
| Feature | Detail |
|---|---|
| Fit | One size — adjustable loop fits all wrist sizes |
| Material | Cotton with white rubber grip coating |
| Best For | Deadlifts, rack pulls, barbell rows, shrugs, lat pulldowns |
| Not For | Olympic lifting / drops — use hook grip for O-lifting |
How to Measure
Use a soft tailoring tape. Measure snug — not pulled tight. Take each measurement twice to confirm.
Measure at navel level (belly button), not hips. Stand relaxed, not flexed. This is where the belt sits when you lift.
Measure at mid-patella (centre of kneecap) with leg straight. Measure both knees, use the larger number.
No measurement needed. Choose by length — see the wrap table above. Based on training level and how much support you need.
Knee wraps, elbow wraps, and lifting straps are one size fits all. No measurement needed.
