THE BRAND THAT INDIAN LIFTERS
WERE WAITING FOR
"When you pursue fitness science seriously, you realise most gear isn't built around the human body under load — it's built around cost. We built NBD to fix that."
Eleven years ago, there was no Indian powerlifting equipment brand worth talking about. Athletes either trained with substandard local gear that failed under heavy load — or paid premium prices for imported belts and sleeves that weren't sized or calibrated for the Indian athlete's needs. NBD Powerlifting was founded in Haryana to change that reality entirely.
What separates NBD from every other brand on the market is the foundation it's built on: fitness science. Every product in the NBD range has been studied, tested, and refined through a lens of biomechanics, exercise physiology, and strength training research. This isn't a brand that copies Western designs and slaps a logo on them. This is a brand that starts with the question: what does the body actually need under a maximum load?
The answer to that question lives in our lever belts — built to competition-approved 13mm thickness standards with intra-abdominal pressure optimisation in mind. It lives in our knee sleeves — compression-calibrated at 7mm to enhance stability without restricting natural knee tracking. And it lives in our wrist wraps — stiffness-rated for different movement demands across squat, bench, and overhead press.
Every single measurement, every material choice, every closure mechanism at NBD is personally customised for performance. Not aesthetics. Not trend. Not what looks good in a product photo. What works when 200kg is on your back and the meet clock is counting down.
Every NBD product begins in research — biomechanics, exercise physiology, and real-world load testing. Form follows function. Always.
Our belts, sleeves and wraps meet competition-approved standards — the same gear worn in training works on the meet platform.
