On manufacturing — leather, stitching and hardware. Lifters are still training in the same NBD belt 4–5 years on.
Find Your Size
Measure around your waist at the navel — exactly where the belt sits when you brace and lift. Exhale fully before measuring. Not your trouser size.

Built to Outlast You
Backed for Years, Not Months
A belt is a one-time investment. We stand behind ours in writing — and we will show you how to make it last far longer than the warranty.
This is not a number we picked to sound good. We have lifters in our community still training in the same NBD belt they bought four and five years ago — same leather, same lever, no damage. Look after it and a good belt outlives the warranty on it.
What's Covered
- Stitching that comes apart under normal training use
- Leather splitting, delaminating or cracking through a manufacturing fault
- Lever mechanism failing to lock, seizing or snapping
- Rivets, screws or buckle hardware failing
- Any defect present in the belt when it reached you
What's Not Covered
- Normal break-in marks, creasing and patina — that is leather doing its job
- Damage from throwing, dropping or slamming the belt
- Cuts, gouges or scuffs from bar knurling, plates or rack edges
- Water damage, heat damage or leather left wet
- Belts altered, re-drilled or repaired outside NBD
- Colour fade from long exposure to direct sunlight
How to Make It Last a Decade
Genuine leather is a material, not a product — it responds to how you treat it. Five minutes of habit is the difference between a belt that lasts two years and one that lasts ten.
Never Throw It
Set it down, don't launch it across the platform. A thrown belt lands lever-first — that is the single most common way a lever gets bent or a rivet works loose.
Let It Dry, Flat
Wipe the sweat off after training and leave it flat or hanging in open air. Never dry it on a radiator or in direct sun — heat is what makes leather go brittle and crack.
Don't Bury It in the Bag
Rolled tight under plates and shoes, a belt holds moisture and takes a permanent bend. Store it flat, or hanging by the buckle, with room around it.
Keep It Out of Water
Never soak, machine wash or scrub a leather belt. Wipe it with a barely damp cloth and let it air dry. Water strips the oils that keep leather flexible.
Condition It Twice a Year
A thin coat of leather conditioner every six months keeps the fibres supple and stops surface cracking. A little goes a long way — wipe off whatever doesn't absorb.
Check the Lever Screws
Once a month, check the lever screws are still tight. Thirty seconds with a screwdriver prevents the one failure that actually ends a belt's life early.
