Powerlifting Beltsin India
Competition-grade leather powerlifting belts engineered for serious lifters. 10mm & 13mm. Lever & pin options. Full-grain leather that forms to your body and holds for years.
Find your size
Every NBD belt runs the same ladder, XS to 5XL, measured at the navel. Set your waist once here and every belt below highlights the size that fits you.
Measure at your navel, standing relaxed, not braced. Not your trouser size — that is almost always 2–3 inches smaller.

| Size | Waist (inches) | Waist (cm) | Availability |
|---|
Ranges are waist measured at the navel. A lever belt is adjusted inwards from its largest setting, so if you fall between two sizes, take the larger one.
Which belt is right for you
Every NBD belt is 4 inches wide and cut from full-grain leather, apart from the nylon entry belt. What actually separates them is two things: how it closes, and how thick it is. Get those two right and the rest is finish and colour.
| Mechanism | What it is | Best for | Trade-off | Family |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dual Pro lever | A lever with two locking points instead of one, so it pulls flat and does not creep. | Max-effort squats and deadlifts. Competition day. | Changing the hole position needs a screwdriver. | Dual Pro → |
| Classic lever | The standard single-lock powerlifting lever. | Everyday heavy training. The first serious belt. | Same screwdriver adjustment, one locking point. | Classic Lever → |
| 3-pin adjustable | A lever whose plate carries three pin positions. | A waist that moves between a bulk and a cut. | Slightly more moving parts than a plain lever. | 3-Pin Lever → |
| Pin buckle (prong) | A traditional prong through punched holes. | Bodybuilding, general strength, a first leather belt. | Slower on and off between sets. | Pin Buckle → |
| Self-locking | A nylon belt with a quick-lock buckle. | General gym training. The lowest entry point. | Nylon flexes; it will not brace a maximal squat. | Pin Buckle → |
The most flexible leather belt we make. Comfortable immediately, no break-in worth mentioning. Support for general training rather than limit attempts.
Breaks in within weeks and sits more comfortably at the hips on deadlifts. Enough belt for the large majority of lifters, and the easier belt to live with day to day.
The stiffest wall of support in the range and three to four weeks of break-in before it moulds. Worth it if you are chasing maximum singles; overkill if you are not.
Still deciding? Thickness is easier to change your mind about than mechanism — the Dual Pro and Classic Lever pages both let you pick 10mm or 13mm on the same page.
Flagship 13mm Belts
Two statement belts at full competition thickness. Same 13mm leather body and lever as the belts below — the difference is the hide, the finish and the hardware.
- Pick this if you want the best-finished belt we make and you intend to keep it for a decade.
- Look elsewhere if you want the same support for less — the Dual Pro and Classic Lever families brace identically.

Dual Pro Lever Belts
Our dual-lock lever. Two locking points instead of one, so the lever pulls flatter against the belt and does not creep under a heavy brace. On and off in about three seconds between sets.
- Pick this if You squat and deadlift near your limit, and you want the fastest, tightest lock we make.
- Look elsewhere if You want the lowest price on a lever belt — the Classic Lever below does the same job with one locking point.

Lever Belt
The stiffest belt we build. Three to four weeks of break-in, then it holds a max-effort brace like nothing else in the range. Choose this if the squat is the lift you care about.
- →13mm full-grain leather — maximum stiffness for heavy pulls
- →Dual Pro lever mechanism — on & off in 3 seconds between sets
- →4-inch uniform width — full posterior chain contact
- →Sizes XS–5XL — available in all competition sizes
- →Competition Spec — 10cm uniform width, competition-standard thickness

10mm Dual Pro Lever Belt
The same dual-lock lever, three millimetres thinner. Breaks in within weeks and sits more comfortably off the floor — enough belt for most lifters, without the wait.

NBD Dual Pro Lever Belt (10mm & 13mm)
Both thicknesses on one page, side by side, with a thickness comparator and multi-belt pack pricing. Start here if you have not decided between 10mm and 13mm.
Classic Lever Belts
The standard powerlifting lever — one locking point, same 4-inch full-grain leather body, same size ladder. This is the belt most lifters actually need.
- Pick this if You want a proper competition-style lever belt for everyday heavy training.
- Look elsewhere if You change waist size often. A plain lever moves in fixed holes; the 3-Pin below moves without tools.

Classic Lever Belt (10mm & 13mm)
The standard NBD lever, in black or the Golden Masterpiece finish, at either thickness. The most-bought belt on this page and the one to buy if you are unsure.

10mm Premium Lever Belt
Start from 10mm and pick the mechanism at checkout — Classic, DualLock Pro or the Classic Gold finish. One page, every 10mm lever we make.

13mm Premium Leather Belt (3 Variants)
Start from 13mm and pick the mechanism at checkout — Classic, DualLock Pro or the Classic Gold finish. Seven layers of leather at full competition thickness.
3-Pin Special Mechanism Lever Belts
A lever belt, not a prong belt — the difference is in the lever plate. Three pin positions are built into the mechanism itself, so the fit moves by roughly an inch in either direction without a screwdriver and without drilling a new hole. Everything else is the same belt: 4-inch full-grain leather, 10mm or 13mm, XS to 5XL.
- Pick this if You want lever speed and lever lockdown, but your waist moves between a bulk and a cut — or you share the belt with a training partner.
- Look elsewhere if Your waist is stable and you never need to re-set the fit. A plain Classic Lever has one less thing to adjust.

3-Pin Special Mechanism Lever Belt
A full lever belt whose plate carries three pin positions, so the fit moves by about an inch either way without tools. Lever speed and lever lockdown, with room to change.
Pin Buckle & Entry Belts
No lever at all. A traditional prong buckle and a quick-lock nylon belt — the finest adjustment in the range, and the lowest entry point.
- Pick this if This is your first belt, or you train general strength and bodybuilding rather than max singles.
- Look elsewhere if You are chasing a maximum squat. A lever locks tighter and repeats the same tension every set.

8mm Leather Pin Buckle Belt
A traditional prong buckle on 8mm leather. The finest adjustment in the range and the most flexible belt — bodybuilding, general strength work, or a first leather belt.

Self-Locking Weightlifting Belt
Nylon, 4 inches wide, with a self-locking buckle you can set one-handed. The entry belt for general gym training rather than maximal powerlifting.
Belt Kits & Bundles
A belt plus the rest of the kit — sleeves, wraps, straps — in a single order, so you are not buying gear one piece at a time.
- Pick this if You are kitting out from scratch, or replacing worn accessories alongside the belt.
- Look elsewhere if You already own your accessories. Buy the belt on its own above.

Essential Lifting Kit (Belt + 6 Items)
A lever belt with knee sleeves, wrist wraps, straps and the rest of the training kit. Everything you need to train heavy, bought once.

Heavy Duty Kit (Belt + 8 Items)
The full setup — a 13mm belt plus eight accessories, for a lifter kitting out completely rather than piece by piece.
Levers & Spare Parts
The mechanism on its own. Every NBD lever is replaceable, so a worn or lost lever does not end the belt.
- Pick this if You need a replacement, or you want to convert a belt you already own to a different lever.
- Look elsewhere if You are buying your first belt — every belt above already ships with its lever fitted.

Belt Levers (Buckle Only)
The lever on its own — Classic, Classic Gold, 3-Pin or Dual Pro. Replace a worn mechanism, or change the lever on a belt you already own.
Which NBD belt should you buy?
Most lifters overthink this. There are only three decisions that matter — thickness, fastening, and size — and the rest is preference.
13mm gives maximum stiffness and is what most competitive lifters squat in. It takes longer to break in. 10mm is more forgiving from day one, sits more comfortably on deadlifts, and is the belt most Indian lifters should actually buy first. Both are built to a 4-inch uniform width, the dimensional limit set out in the IPF rulebook.
Lever locks and releases in one motion, which matters when you are loosening the belt between heavy sets. Pin buckle is slower but adjusts in finer increments and costs less. A 3-pin adjustable sits between the two.
Size is measured at your navel, not your trouser size — this is where most returns come from. Use the size finder further down this page before you order.
Training in a gym rather than competing?
A gym belt and a powerlifting belt are the same tool. If you train hard in a commercial gym and have no intention of stepping on a platform, you do not need a different product — you need the right thickness. A 10mm lever belt for gym training is comfortable enough for volume work and stiff enough for heavy squats and deadlifts, which is why it is the belt most people should buy. The only reason to move up to 13mm is max-effort singles.
Whether you call it a gym belt, a weight lifting belt or a powerlifting belt, it is the same piece of equipment and the same sizing method applies. Everything on this page is written for both.
Round out your setup
A belt handles your core. For the rest: powerlifting knee sleeves for everyday squat volume, knee wraps for max-effort singles, wrist wraps for pressing and lockout stability, and elbow wraps for heavy bench work. You can also see the full straps, wraps and sleeves range, or the kits and bundles if you are building a setup from scratch.
If you want the programming around the belt as well as the belt, you can train with a real coach and get a plan built around your own lifts.

Find Your Size
Drag the slider to your waist measurement at the navel — exactly where the belt sits when you brace and lift. Exhale fully before measuring. Not your trouser size.
Belt Size
Guide
NBD belts use your natural waist measurement — not your pant size. Measure around your navel for the most accurate fit.
| Size | Waist Range | Fits Pants Size |
|---|---|---|
| XS | 23″ – 33″ | 28–32 |
| S | 27″ – 37″ | 32–36 |
| M | 31″ – 41″ | 36–40 |
| L | 35″ – 45″ | 40–44 |
| XL | 39″ – 49″ | 44–48 |
| 2XL | 43″ – 53″ | 48–52 |
| 3XL | 47″ – 57″ | 52–56 |
| 4XL | 51″ – 61″ | 56–60 |
| 5XL | 55″ – 65″ | 60–64 |
If you're between sizes, size down for a tighter competition brace. Size up if you plan to bulk or wear the belt over a lifting suit.
3 Simple
Steps
- Find your navelStand upright and locate the centre of your belly button — this is where you'll position your belt.
- Measure your waistUse a soft measuring tape and wrap it around your torso at navel level. Keep it snug but not tight. Note this number in inches.
- Pick your sizeMatch your waist measurement to the size chart on the left. For competition use, size to the middle of the belt hole range for maximum adjustability.

Before you order
Should I buy 10mm or 13mm?
10mm if this is your first serious belt, if you deadlift more than you squat, or if you want it usable immediately — it breaks in faster and is more comfortable at the hips. 13mm if you are chasing maximum stiffness on heavy squats and are willing to spend a few weeks breaking it in. Both are 4 inches wide. Full comparison here.
What size do I need?
Measure around your waist at the navel, over a t-shirt, standing relaxed — not your trouser size, which is usually 2–4 inches smaller. Use the size finder on this page, and if you fall between two sizes take the larger one. Full sizing guide.
Lever or prong?
A lever locks and releases in one motion, which is why most competitive lifters prefer it between heavy sets — the trade-off is that changing the hole position needs a screwdriver. A pin buckle adjusts in finer increments and costs less. The 3-pin adjustable is the middle ground. Compared in detail here.
Are these belts built to competition specification?
Yes — 4-inch uniform width and 10mm/13mm thickness match the dimensional limits set out in the IPF rulebook. NBD is not currently listed on any federation's approved-equipment register, so check your federation's current equipment list before meet day.
Is Cash on Delivery available?
Yes, across India, with a shipping advance collected at the time of order. Prepaid orders via UPI and cards are also available.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched within 24 hours and shipped pan-India. Delivery time after dispatch depends on your location.
What is the belt made of?
100% pure grain leather — not synthetic, not foam-padded. Leather stiffens and moulds to you with use rather than softening and collapsing the way padded belts do.
