LockoutThe elbow finishes the press.
The problem

Your elbows take every rep.

Every heavy press finishes at the elbow. When the joint feels loose or beat up, the bar slows down long before your chest or triceps run out.

  • 01
Heavy benchLockouts, board presses and top singles load the joint on every single rep.
  • 02
Triceps workClose-grip, JM press and extensions hammer the same spot day after day.
  • 03
Overhead pressThe bar travels a long way, and the elbows carry it the whole way up.
  • 04
Volume daysBy the last sets the elbows feel it first, and the set ends early.
Look closer

Anchor it. Then wrap.

The Elite Series wrap starts with an elastic loop designed and made by NBD. Hook it on first so the wrap stays anchored while you pull it tight, then wind with tension and lock it down with velcro.

How to wrap

Ten seconds. Then press.

  1. 01

    Hook the loop

Hook the elastic loop on first. It anchors the wrap so nothing slips while you pull.

  2. 02

    Wind with tension

Pull the wrap tight on every turn, overlapping each turn over the joint.

  3. 03

    Cover the elbow

Spiral up and over the elbow so the turns sit above and below the joint.

  4. 04

    Lock & press

Close the velcro over the last turn. Unwrap between sets.

Snug, not numb: if your fingers tingle or change colour, unwrap and go again a little looser.

Questions

Straight answers.

Are these elbow wraps or elbow sleeves?

Wraps. You wind them on with as much tension as you want and lock them with velcro, so the hold is adjustable. Sleeves slide on and give a fixed, lighter compression.

What is the loop for?

It's an elastic loop designed and made by NBD. Hook it on first to anchor the wrap, then wind with tension. It stops the wrap sliding while you pull it tight.

Can I use elbow wraps in a powerlifting meet?

Treat them as training gear. Elbow wraps aren't on the permitted personal-equipment lists of the major powerlifting federations, so check your own federation's rules before a meet.

How tight should they be?

Tight enough that the joint feels supported, not so tight that your fingers tingle or change colour. Wrap for your heavy sets and take them off between sets.

Is it a pair?

Yes: one wrap for each elbow, left and right.

Which pack should I buy?

One pair if it's for you. Two pairs for a spare or a training partner. The press stack if you also want Elite Series 1 m wrist wraps in the same order.
