Snake-scale leather

Pure full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, 13 mm through. The snake-scale texture is pressed into the hide itself, not printed on the surface — which is why it runs unbroken across the whole belt and will not wear off.

Matte black lever

A steel lever finished in matte black and marked with the NBD monogram, so nothing on the belt reflects light except the red inside it. Set once to your size; opens and closes between sets in seconds.

Red suede lining

The inside is lined edge to edge in red suede — the part only the lifter ever sees. It grips the shirt under a full brace and turns the belt inside-out into something you notice every time you take it off.

Every NBD 13 mm lever belt is built to one specification. The Viper is what happens when that specification is finished without compromise: pure full-grain hide with a snake-scale texture pressed into it, the red suede interior, the blacked-out lever — and every belt made after the order, not pulled from a shelf, because the hide it is cut from is not something we hold in volume. It is the belt NBD makes for the lifter who has already decided.

Before you order.

Which size should I order?
Measure your natural waist at navel height, relaxed, in inches. NBD's size ranges overlap on purpose; a lever belt is adjusted inwards from its largest setting, so if you fall between two sizes take the larger one. Drag the tape in the buy box and it selects your size for you.
Is the Viper made to order?
Yes — every Viper is built after the order is placed. The scale-textured hide it is cut from is produced in small quantities, so we do not hold finished belts on a shelf. Allow a few extra days before dispatch.
What is the belt made of?
Pure full-grain vegetable-tanned leather at 13 mm thickness, with a snake-scale texture pressed into the hide, a red suede lining and a matte black steel lever buckle carrying the NBD monogram.
How do I break in and care for the leather?
New full-grain leather is stiff by design. Wear it through lighter sessions for the first two to four weeks and flex it by hand. Wipe the exterior with a dry cloth; keep it away from water and direct heat. Do not oil the suede lining.
How long does delivery take?
Your Viper is made after you order, so allow a few extra days before it ships; shipping across India is free on this order and you will receive tracking as soon as it leaves us.
What is the return policy?
Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery on an unused belt in its original packaging; a 25% restocking fee applies and return shipping is paid by the customer. Damaged or wrong-item claims must be raised within 3 days with an unboxing video. Full terms are on the Refund Policy page.
How is the Viper different from the Imperial and the Dual Pro?
