Powerlifting Knee Sleeves in India — 7mm Compression Built for Heavy Squats

If your knees ache on the walk out, feel cold on your first working set, or you lose confidence in the hole on a max-effort squat, you don't need a brace. You need proper 7mm powerlifting knee sleeves. NBD knee sleeves are built for Indian lifters who squat heavy, train year-round, and want joint support that lasts more than one training block.

Every pair is high-grade dense neoprene, cut to 30cm length, and sold as a pair — left and right. Trusted by 15,500+ lifters across India.

How to Choose: 5mm vs 7mm Knee Sleeves

  • 7mm neoprene — the powerlifting standard. Maximum compression, real rebound out of the hole, and enough stiffness to keep the joint warm and stable under a heavy bar. Choose this if squats and lower-body strength are the priority.
  • 5mm compression sleeves — thinner and more mobile. Better for CrossFit-style training, higher-rep work, running and general gym use where you want warmth without the stiffness.

How to Size Your Knee Sleeves

This is where most lifters get it wrong. Measure the circumference straight around the centre of your kneecap with the leg relaxed and straight, then measure around the thickest part of your calf. Match that to the size chart on the product page.

Do not size up for comfort. A knee sleeve only works if it is genuinely tight — a loose sleeve gives you warmth and nothing else. Correctly sized 7mm sleeves should take real effort to pull on for the first few sessions. That is the fit doing its job.

What Serious Lifters Get From NBD Sleeves

  • Joint warmth from set one — no more wasting your first two working sets getting the knees ready
  • Rebound out of the bottom — dense neoprene stores and returns energy at the hardest part of the squat
  • Built to competition specification — 7mm thickness and 30cm length match the dimensional limits set out in the IPF rulebook. NBD is not currently listed on any federation's approved-equipment register, so check your federation's current equipment list before meet day.
  • Built to hold compression — neoprene that doesn't go slack and baggy after two months of use
  • India-made pricing — competition-specification sleeves without the import markup on foreign pairs

Caring for Your Knee Sleeves

Hand-wash only, in cold water with mild soap, and air dry away from direct heat. Never put neoprene sleeves in a washing machine or dryer — high heat permanently destroys the compression you paid for. Turn them inside out after training instead of leaving them balled up in a gym bag.

Knee Sleeves or Knee Wraps?

Sleeves are for training. They go on once, stay on, keep the joint warm, and support every set of your session. Wraps are a meet-day and heavy-single tool — tightly wound for maximum rebound on a specific attempt, then unwound between sets. Most lifters need sleeves. Competitive squatters chasing a number own both.
